COVID-19: Contingency Plan

Following the recommendations of the document '*Measures for the reduction of contagion by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 for Hotels and Tourist Apartments*', created by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (*ICTE*) and endorsed by the *Ministry of Health*, we have developed a Contingency Plan that details the concrete measures to be taken to reduce the risks of COVID-19 contagion and ensure the safety of our customers and team.

*GENERAL MEASURES*

  • Hygiene and social distancing are two basic pillars.
  • Hand sanitiser will be available in public areas.
  • Train our team on the new COVID-19 protocols.
  • Work with personal protective equipment (PPE) for the safety of our customers and staff.
  • A capacity in the common areas such as restaurant, reception and fitness studio,etc has been delimited and indicated the waiting areas ensuring 1.5 meters between people.
  • All uniform are washed at more than 60degrees.

*PUBLIC AREAS*

  • We increase the disinfection of public areas (including critical points such as elevators, reception desk, door knobs, etc.).
  • Hand sanitiser available to all guests.
  • The elevator can be used individually, and in group as long as members belong to the same family or are staying in the same room/apartment.
  • Basins in public areas will be disinfected 6 times a day.

*SWIMMING POOLS*

  • Both pools are open and you can swim respecting social distancting.
  • Sunbeds and outdoor furniture are 1.5 metres apart.
  • Sunbeds are disinfected every night and at the request of the client after each use.
  • Showers, pool railings, toilets and sinks are cleaned frequently.
  • A customer's disposal there is virucidal product and dry paper hands.
  • Disinfectant and paper towels are at guest’s disposal.

*BUFFET*

  • The restaurant tables are separated by 1.5m.
  • We have removed the decoration of the tables in order to reduce possible points of infection.
  • We keep the buffet with the obligation to wear mask, gloves and hand disinfection when entering the restaurant.
  • We increase individual portions and change oft the cutlery used to serve the buffet.
  • There is a circuit in the buffet area in order to avoid crossing between people and limited capacity.
  • Our team wears a mask throughout the breakfast and dinner service.
  • Furniture, crockery and glassware is disinfected after each use. Our menu will be available online (QR code) and it can also be check on the information panels.
  • We will join the terrace to the restaurant, gaining more space in order to avoid the allocation of shifts and ensuring social distancing.
  • Only members of the same family or those sharing a room/apartment can sit together.

*RECEPTION*

  • Screens and hand sanitiser are available at front desk.
  • Guests can communicate with the reception via whatsapp ( 0034 971686093).
  • Pens and room cards used by customers are disinfected after each use.
  • Masks and disinfectant wipes can be purchased.
  • In the waiting area we have marked where each client should wait in order to respect social distancing.
  • A smaller capacity has been delimited.

*GYM*

  • Equipment has been redistributed to ensure social distancing.
  • We have increased the disinfection of the gym.
  • Disinfectant and paper towels are at guest’s disposal.

*ROOMS/APARTMENTS*

  • The apartment/room is disinfected with the new COVID-19 procedure which includes measures such as: use of virus-killing cleaning products, dirty clothes are transported inside plastic bags, clean clothes are placed in the room/apartment once the area has been disinfected, etc.
  • Sheets and towels will be washed at more than 60oC.
  • The remote control is protected with a plastic bag.
  • The hangers and cots are disinfected after guest checks out.
  • We have removed the decoration of the room/apartment in order to eliminate possible points of infection (cushions, plaid, etc).
  • The bins have an automatic lid to open them.
  • We clean your room/apartment when you are not inside.
  • In the event of a breakdown, repairs are carried out when you are not in your room/apartment.
  • We increase the preventive maintenance of important installations (air conditioning, hot water, filters, washing temperatures, etc).
  • Additional pillows and duveys have been removed from the cabinets and will be delivered upon request.
